A 95-gallon ERWS garbage cart is required for all services and will be provided to each customer at sign-up. There is a “one time” $58.00 deposit that is required for each cart and will be reimbursed if services are discontinued for any reason and the cart is returned within 45 days without any damage.
ERWS will make every effort to keep the routes consistent however, there are factors beyond our control (inclement weather, breakdowns, sick employees, etc.) that may force us to alter the routes on any given day. Please do not get accustomed to a driver showing up at your location at a particular time….there is the possibility that we may arrive earlier (or much later) than expected.
If we arrive at your residence and your cart is not out, we will document the time we were at your residence and the fact that the cart was not accessible for collection. If you forgot to put your garbage out and we have already passed by your residence, you may contact our office and request that we return. If possible, we will return and collect your garbage within 24 hrs however, there will be an additional $15 charge assessed.
Garbage carts must be at the curb/road-side no later than 7:00 AM on scheduled collection days to ensure service for that week.

For Residential Collection customers, we ask that you place the cart in close proximity to where your driveway meets your residence. We will not collect any garbage carts that are located inside of a fenced yard, where an aggressive pet has access to or when the cart is not visible from the driveway. If you choose Residential Collection and have a fenced yard around your residence, you will be required to place the cart outside of the fence.
If your entire property is fenced and you have an entrance gate to your property, you are eligible for Residential Collection as long as there are no aggressive pets to contend with and appropriate access (key, code, etc.) is provided. We will open / close the gate upon entry and open / close the gate upon exiting. There will be an additional $10.00 monthly charge for this service (see service agreement).
If your driveway is inaccessible (For Mini Garbage Truck) due to overhanging limbs, deteriorated driveway, etc., you will not be eligible for Residential Collection until adequate access is provided. If you have concerns that your driveway may not be adequate please call prior to purchasing services and an ERWS representative will come to your property and make that determination.
All garbage placed in garbage cart (s) needs to be contained and secured in garbage bags. ERWS will not collect any loose garbage.
ERWS will not collect additional bags placed beside the cart. If you produce more garbage (weekly) than one 95 gallon cart will contain, you may purchase a second service (which will give you a second ERWS cart) for an additional $20.00 per month.
There will be circumstances (i.e. holidays, closing of landfills, inclement weather, etc.) that may dictate a change in our regularly scheduled collections.
Inclement Weather – There will be instances where inclement weather will slow us down or perhaps even prevent us from traveling some of the roads. Every attempt will be made to reach you; however, we will leave it up to the driver’s discretion in these situations. Should we decide it is too dangerous to make the stop, we will do our best to contact you by the next business day and make alternate arrangements for collection suitable to both parties. If you are a Residential Collection customer, we will not attempt to access your property if there is potential of causing damage to your property (muddy driveways, wet turn around spots, etc) or our equipment.
Holidays – If your regular day of collection falls on a weekday holiday, service will be delayed one day for that week only. Friday routes will be collected on Saturday. Please note that we do not skip service for any holidays other than the following: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
ERWS is a pre-paid service. Each customer will be invoiced on the 5th day of the third month (for quarterly customers) and the 5th day of the 5th month (for bi-yearly customers). All payments are due by the 25th of the same month to assure services for the following quarter / bi—yearly (6 months). If payment is not received on or before the 25th, services will discontinue and there will be a $15.00 reinstatement fee added to restart service. If service is not renewed in 45 days ERWS will collect the garbage cart from the residence and return the deposit as long as the cart is not damaged. If the cart cannot be located at the residence or if it has been damaged ERWS will keep the deposit to replace the cart.
ERWS is a new company, thus our abilities are somewhat limited for now however, as we grow, our goal is to accommodate all of our customers disposal needs to include bulk items (furniture, appliances, etc.), lawn debris, and more.
For environmental, health and safety reasons the following items will not be collected (including, but not limited to): hazardous chemicals / waste, roofing material, construction or remodeling debris, dirt, rock, steel shavings, concrete, hot ashes, automotive parts, tires, batteries, motor oil, solvents, pool chemicals, radioactive materials, pathogens, toxic waste, acidic waste, volatile material, dead animals, electronics, liquid paints or stains, “white goods” containing chlorofluorocarbon refrigerants (“CFCs” – Freon) such as refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners.
